The Cincinnati Cyclones and the Toledo Walleye will meet in the ECHL playoffs as both teams look to keep their Kelly Cup hopes alive in a rematch of 2022 first round series. 

The Central bracket's top seeded Cyclones defeated the Fort Wayne Komets in the first round of the 2023 Kelly Cup Playoffs in seven games. The Toledo Walleye swept the Indy Fuel to advance out of the first round.

Last season the Cyclones lost in the first round of the ECHL playoffs to the Walleye, who went on to advance to the Kelly Cup Finals. The Walleye lost the series to the Florida Everblades in five games.

Cincinnati Cyclones Vs. Toledo Walleye Records

Cincinnati won the Central Division by five points this season and went 6-5 against the Walleye. 

The Cyclones have faced the Walleye in the playoffs three times and have advanced just once. Both times the Walleye eliminated the Cyclones, they went on to the Kelly Cup Finals in 2019 and 2022. 

The Cyclones went 47-16 in the regular season, while the Walleye were 45-19. 

Have the Toledo Walleye Ever Won The Kelly Cup? 

No. The Walleye have reached the Kelly Cup Final twice but never won. In 2019, Toledo lost in six games to the Newfoundland Growlers. 

Have The Cincinnati Cyclones Ever Won The Kelly Cup?

Yes. The Cyclones won Kelly Cups in 2008 and 2010 but have not advanced past the second round of the ECHL playoffs since 2013.
