Boston College hockey has bulldozed their way through the NCAA hockey regular season and the first round of the NCAA Hockey Tournament before meeting a test in defending NCAA national champions Quinnipiac in the Providence Regional final. True to form, though, the behemoth from Beantown took down the Bobcats 5-4, in overtime.

Two-and-a-half weeks ago, Michigan hockey was reeling after losing a heartbreaker to rival Michigan State in the Big Ten championship. Now, after dispatching North Dakota and enacting revenge on the Spartans, the upstart Wolverines find themselves among the elite hockey programs featured in the Frozen Four.
Boston College has a roster full of former players who came from the USHL's U.S. National Team Development Program, including BC hockey stars Cutter Gauthier, Will Smith, Gabe Perreault and Drew Fortescue. Those players were also rostered on the World Junior Team USA, who won the 2024 World Juniors Championship by defeating Team Sweden. Michigan also has their own NTDP hero in Rutger McGroarty.
Boston College will play Michigan on April 11, at 8:30pm ET in St. Paul, MN.
