During the 2023-2024 college ice hockey season, there will be 64 NCAA Division I men’s programs across 21 states, led by New York and Massachusetts with 11 teams each.

Week 2 in the CCHA brings fans a tripleheader of tasty matchups: the mirror-image clash of Minnesota’s two supreme defenders; the return of a CCHA coaching giant; and the collision of two No. 1 squads, a series that should settle all debates as to who is the premier team in college hockey.

A 27-person group representing all 11 men’s and women’s NCAA Division I hockey conferences chose Black History Month to roll out a new initiative titled “College Hockey for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.”
