During the 2023-2024 college ice hockey season, there will be 64 NCAA Division I men’s programs across 21 states, led by New York and Massachusetts with 11 teams each.

Gabe Perreault, a Boston College commit and projected first-round pick for the 2023 NHL Draft, made USA Hockey history Saturday after a five-point effort against Norway at the IIHF World Men's Under-18 Championship. The five points added to his season total give Perreault 121 this season for the U.S. National Under-18 Team, which is part of USA Hockey's National Team Development Program.

The 2019-2020 season was a pivotal year for the Sacred Heart Pioneers, who emerged for a season of program achievements, before COVID-19 forced the season's cancellation.

This week the CCHA on FloHockey features a clash between Lake State and Michigan Tech, which should snuff out who is for real and who is not. Also, Minnesota State takes on Ferris State and BU travels to Northern Michigan.
